Super colorful 3.25 ct Coober Pedy Australia Crystal Shell piece. This opal measures 13.8 x 13.1 x 5.2 mm and is nicely curved, it will make a stunning piece of jewelry! As it is an opalized piece of shell the back of this stone is hollow. I would probably make a bezel cup with a curved back so that it would follow the shape of the shell.
